I have been so busy the past few weeks: work, school, and being exhausted from both. I have a few nice posts that haven’t been published yet (i.e. Jesse’s R32). They should be finished within a few days.
Anyways, this evening in Downtown Los Angeles, I was involved with a last minute ABC’s The Forgotten television show shoot. Here are a few pictures that I snuck in before asked to put away my camera. It’s your typical “Fast & Furious” plot and set, with my car and I being extras. Usually, it’s just my car being the extra. This time, I was an extra, wearing a hella fugly t-shirt that the wardrobe coordinator picked out.
This time attack evo is so sick. I just had to post it even though I drive a Suby.

I can’t believe I”m blogging about Hello Kitty. Went with my girl to Three Apples Hello Kitty Exhibit held at Royal T. Opening day had a 5 hour wait. Thank god I had plans to go watch UFC. We went on Sunday and there wasn’t much of a wait to get in. My girl loved it in there. She wanted to buy everything. There is two store inside the Exhibit. Make sure you get in line early. Luckily the other store was selling items I was more intrested in. My girl already wants to go back.
My good friend Nhu and Luv got married on Oct. 17,2009. The wedding was held at the San Gabriel Hilton. It was the best wedding I have ever been too. Hopefully my wedding will be this great. It really didn’t feel like a boring asianwedding as usual. I wish it hadn’t ended. Congratulation to Nhu and Luv.
Went to the Formula D event this weekend to hang out with the guys. It was on Oct. 17 and held at Toyota Speedway. The weather couldn’t have been worst. It was super hot when I was there. There was a lot of really nice rides in the booth area and the car show. I didn’t get to stay to long since I had a wedding to go too. Missed on a lot of great pictures since I left when the show opened it’s gates. Our group of guys hire a wonderful young lady name Thien to model for us. She did a great job at the show. Two of our guys also took home 1st Mitsubishi and 1st Acura.
In the past, I attended SEMA through 500whp.com. As you may know, DD Garage is now specializing in sourcing “rare” JDM parts. As a result, we will be attending SEMA as our own entity now! I know it’s not that big of a deal because it’s just a SEMA badge but I’m excited that we’re becoming more and more “established”.
Check out Jeff’s online store at 500whp.com. While his store focuses on Evolutions, he can get parts for any import (i.e. RSX, IS300, S2000, etc…) and his prices are pretty much unbeatable. 500whp.com is your stop for non-rare parts; DD Garage is your stop for rare parts. Jeff, thanks for always hooking up the SEMA badges for the last several years!
If you need help sourcing any rare JDM part, drop a line to firstname.lastname@example.org!
Falken Tires is now campaigning this car in the American Le Mans Series. One of the first things I notice on a car is wheel and brake setup: single-lug BBS and Performance Friction big brakes.
